Erg, Fitness, And Strength Plan
The erg is the key to getting recruited. Coaches use the erg to predict your maximum on-the-water performance. Working with RowCollege comes with a personalized plan to achieve the standards of your dream schools. This plan includes an erg plan (specific extra work for those at clubs), lifting regimens, as well as nutritional standards. Getting fast on the erg will not be easy, it will require effort, consistency, and time. With that said, NO ONE is incapable of achieving their goals on the erg. RowCollege will provide a specific training plan catered for your goals with personalized guidance every step of the way.

Technique On The Erg and Water
The second most important aspect for recruiting is technique. Coaches want to be confident in your ability to transfer your erg score into on-the-water performance. Additionally, proper technique will convert to better performance on the water and erg alike. Coaches will ask you to send videos of you rowing on the water and on the erg. They will be looking for certain things that indicate you are rowing properly. Understanding what coaches are looking for in the rowing stroke, we will work with you to analyze and improve your rowing technique. Doing better on the water will also naturally place you in higher boats during your high school career. Higher boats translates to more impressive race results to share with coaches. By mastering the rowing stroke, coaches will be confident in your ability to move boats and win races at their school.

Real Data Points: Standards for Academics and Standardized Testing (If Applicable)
RowCollege provides insight into the academic standards top colleges hold for their recruits. These standards can be variable, based on the athletes physical ability, but still hold significant weight in the recruiting process. RowCollege provides you with personalized goals to hit and real data points from earlier recruiting cycles. Note: This does not include academic tutoring.
